Position: Assistant Coach – Track & Field
Salary: $25,000.00 to $40,000.00
Duties/Responsibilities:
The position will provide support the Interim Director of Track & Field/Cross Country in the overall player development of the student-athletes who are members of the Track & Field Program specializing in the sprints and hurdles events. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: coaching, transporting team members to and from practice, organization of team meetings, scheduling, coordination of competition travel and equipment and inventory control.
The position will also serve as liaison in the recruitment and registration process of new student-athletes, as well as monitor the academic performance of current student-athletes.
Reporting Structure:
The position will report directly to the Interim Director of Track & Field/Cross Country
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures; or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Prefer at least 4 years at a Division I institution; expertise in the areas of sprinting and hurdling
