Concordia University- Texas invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Men’s & Women’s Track & Field – Throws. This position will assist the Head Coach in all phases of the Men’s & Women’s Division III Track & Field program, focusing on the throws events, within the rules of the NCAA and American Southwest Conference. This includes coaching and assisting in recruiting and administrative duties such as coordinating training and travel schedules. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, three to five years coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level, or equivalent experience at the national team level; collegiate coaching experience preferred; specific experience coaching and/or competing in throwing events; ability to recruit within University, NCAA and American Southwest Conference rules; strong organizational, interpersonal, oral communication, and computer skills needed. The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete a criminal background and DMV checks satisfactory to Concordia University prior to commencing employment. Stipend $3800
