Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year

NCAA Champ Chelimo Named 2012 Division II Cross Country Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year
209 Men Earn All-Academic Status

NEW ORLEANS – Micah Chelimo of Alaska Anchorage was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2012 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). This fall, Chelimo claimed the individual crown at the DII NCAA Championships.

NEW ORLEANS – Alicia Nelson of Adams State was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2012 cross country season by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). This fall, Nelson won the individual title at the DII NCAA Cross Country Championships.

NEW ORLEANS – The Grizzlies of Adams State University are the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2012 cross country season as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Adams State won the NCAA Cross Country Championship title this fall – their fourth in five years.

Grand Valley State University won the NCAA Cross Country Championship title this fall.
