2018 USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Cross Country All-Region
NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2018 NCAA Division I Cross Country season were recognized Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championship Weekend.
A total of 225 men and 225 women from 150 different programs earned the distinction by finishing among the top-25 runners at one of nine regional sites across the country.

The Arkansas men and women were the only teams with seven All-Region honorees. Both of the Razorback squads continued their dominance in the South Central Region as they captured another set of team titles. Arkansas’ men held off Texas to win by 17 points, while the Arkansas women ran roughshod over the competition and scored just 21 points.
Three men’s teams and three women’s teams had six All-Region honorees. Those men’s teams were Mountain Region runner-up BYU, Midwest Region champ Iowa State and South Region champ Ole Miss, while those women’s teams were Mountain Region runner-up Colorado, Mountain Region champ New Mexico and Mid-Atlantic Region champ Villanova.
On a conference level, the ACC had the most All-Region honorees with 54. Athletes from the Big Ten combined for 52, while the SEC (44), Pac-12 (40) and Ivy League (36) followed behind.
Many of these All-Region athletes will compete at the 2018 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships this upcoming weekend in Madison, Wisconsin.
