2018 USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Cross Country All-Region
NEW ORLEANS – All-Region honorees for the 2018 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were recognized Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following Regional Championship Weekend.
A total of 280 men from 116 different programs and 280 women from 127 different programs earned the distinction by finishing among the top-35 runners at one of eight regional sites across the nation.

There were nine different teams with seven All-Region honorees. Of those, five are women’s programs: Central Region champion Carleton, West Region champion Claremont-Mudd Scripps, Mideast Region champion Johns Hopkins, Atlantic Region champion SUNY Geneseo and Midwest Region champion Washington (Mo.). That leaves four men’s programs: Great Lakes Region champion Calvin, Midwest Region champion North Central (Ill.), West Region champion Pomona-Pitzer and Atlantic Region champion RPI.
Five men’s teams and three women’s teams had six All-Region honorees. Those men’s teams were Atlantic Region runner-up Carnegie Mellon, West Region runner-up Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Atlantic Region runner-up SUNY Geneseo, Midwest Region runner-up UW-La Crosse and Central Region champion Wartburg, while those women’s teams were Mideast Region runner-up Dickinson, South/Southeast Region champion Emory and Atlantic Region runner-up RPI.
On a conference level, the NESCAC and UAA tied for the most with 50 apiece. SCIAC programs combined for 40, while MIAC programs totaled 38 and WIAC programs amassed 34.
Many of these All-Region honorees will compete at the 2018 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships this Saturday in Winneconne, Wisconsin.
