The Bowerman: What You Need To Know About The 2018 Presentation

SAN ANTONIO – Who is ready for the 10th installment of The Bowerman Presentation?

Six months and 10 days ago, the 2018 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships wrapped up in Eugene, Oregon.

Eleven days after that, we announced the women’s finalists for collegiate track & field’s highest honor. One day after THAT, we announced the men’s finalists.

The men’s finalists for The Bowerman are Rai Benjamin, Grant Holloway and Michael Norman.

The women’s finalists for The Bowerman are Maggie Ewen, Sydney McLaughlin and Keturah Orji. Ewen and Orji aren’t strangers to this stage as they were finalists last year (Actually, Orji is the only three-time female finalist in the history of The Bowerman).

Here is what you need to know as The Bowerman takes center stage at the 2018 USTFCCCA Convention tomorrow night.

What Time Does Everything Start?

The Bowerman Presentation gets underway at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT).

We have a Red Carpet Show before, but that’s only for the folks in attendance.

What Is The Bowerman?

The Bowerman is collegiate track & field’s highest honor. Many liken it to the Heisman Trophy of collegiate track & field, but we all know The Bowerman has no comparison. The Bowerman debuted in 2009 and since then, past winners have combined for a staggering amount of success on the world stage, which includes 10 Olympic medals (five gold), 14 World Championships (individual and relay) and 28 total World Championship medals.
