The Bowerman: One Week Until 2019 Presentation

ORLANDO, Fla.The Bowerman Presentation is officially one week away!

We’ll find out which male athlete and female athlete take home collegiate track & field’s highest honor next Thursday at the Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida.

THE BOWERMAN HISTORYPast Winners & Finalists (2009-2018)

Fans can watch The Bowerman Presentation LIVE on ESPN3 beginning at 7 pm ET on Thursday, December 19.

Men’s finalists for The Bowerman in 2019 are Mondo Duplantis of LSU, Grant Holloway of Florida and Divine Oduduru of Texas Tech. Duplantis, Holloway and Oduduru combined for eight national titles and five collegiate records between the indoor and outdoor campaigns and truly altered the complexion of collegiate history.

Women’s finalists for The Bowerman in 2019 are Janeek Brown of Arkansas, Yanis David of Florida and Sha’Carri Richardson of LSU. Brown, David and Richardson starred in their respective events and combined to score 76.5 points at the NCAA Championships in 2019.

The Bowerman Presentation will be hosted by Alex Flanagan with Matt Schumacker serving as co-host.

Flanagan has worked as a sports broadcaster for the past two decades at ESPN, NBC Sports, and NFL Network. She spent seven years as NBC’s sideline reporter on Notre Dame football and has covered five Olympic Games and 12 Super Bowls. Flanagan is also a partner at the sports marketing agency, the Familie, where she now uses her experience to help athletes build and market their careers.

Schumacker is an up-and-coming sports broadcaster with deep ties to track & field. He was a five-time conference finalist as a member of the Butler University track & field team and said working The Bowerman Presentation is a “bucket list for him.”
