NAIA XC National Athletes of the Week (Oct. 7)
The NAIA National Office announced its third National Athletes of the Week selections for the 2020 cross country season on Wednesday afternoon.
Landon Miller of Indiana Wesleyan took home the men’s honors for the second time this season after finishing runner-up in the Blue Race at the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic this past weekend. Miller covered the 8K tract at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer Park in 24:52.
Emma Wilson of Huntington (Ind.) earned the women’s honor after winning the Huntington Invitational this past weekend. Wilson broke the course record with her finishing time of 17:13 and won the individual title by more than 90 seconds.
