

2022 NJCAA DIII Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 6
NEW ORLEANS – There were no changes in the top-10 order as the Week 6 edition of the 2022 NJCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Track & Field Rating Index was released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Only marks from the 2022 indoor and outdoor track & field seasons have been used in this objective compilation.

Make it four-straight weeks at No. 1 for defending champion College of DuPage (Ill.). The Chaps improved their number of top-5 marks to a season-high of 21, with six leading the nation. Lillan Buzani has two (1500 at 5:01.22 and 5000 at 19:11.95), while Mya Mangan has another in the pole vault at 3.25m/10-8. DuPage is also tops in all three relays – 4×100 (50.11), 4×400 (4:18.39) and 4×800 (10:45.30).
Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC remains No. 2, improving its number of top-5 marks to 14. The Sharks have five national leaders – three by Oceane Ode (100 at 12.39, 200 at 25.09 and 400 at 59.83), along with Jaimee Starzee (shot put at 11.02m/36-2) and Angelina Guevara (heptathlon at 2670).
Rowan-Gloucester (N.J.) CC is No. 3. The Roadrunners have 12 top-5 marks, including national javelin leader Kara Knorr (35.15m/115-4).
No. 4 Mineral Area (Mo.) improved its total of top-5 marks to nine. The Cardinals are led by national 10,000 leader Haley Hernandez (42:05.46).
No. 5 Harper (Ill.) CC has 11 top-5 marks – five of which lead the nation. The Hawks are tied for second-most nationally in that regard. Three of the leading marks come from Samira Rosenfeld (100 hurdles at 16.11w, high jump at 1.65m/5-5 and long jump at 5.35mw/17-6¾w), with Fiona Metzo (800 at 2:21.35) and Arianna Teichman (hammer at 35.08m/115-1) also topping their events.
Completing the top-10 teams in the national TFRI are No. 6 Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC, No. 7 Finger Lakes (N.Y.) CC, No. 8 SUNY Broome CC, No. 9 St. Charles (Mo.) CC and No. 10 Camden County (N.J.).
One week from Thursday are the 2022 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 12-14 at Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC’s Outdoor Athletic Complex in Troy, New York.
