NEW ORLEANS - Seemingly no collegiate record was safe in Eugene, Ore., at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships more than a week ago. Leading the charge? None other than the members of the semifinalists list for The Bowerman, which was released by the Bowerman Watch List Committee Tuesday. NEW ORLEANS - With the book on the collegiate track & field season now closed after an exciting conclusion in the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships, The Bowerman Watch List Committee announced Monday the 10 men's semifinalists for The Bowerman. USTFCCCA Announces 2013 Division I Outdoor National Coaches of the Year
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced that Florida’s Mike Holloway and Stanley Redwine of Kansas are the Division I Outdoor Track & Field National Coaches of the Year for 2013, while USC's John Henry Johnson and Kansas' Wayne Pate earned National Assistant Coach of the Year honors. Holloway led his men’s squad to a share of the men's team title for the second consecutive season and Redwine led the Jayhawks to their first track & field title in program history, indoors or out. Nellum & Drouin Earn National Men’s Athlete of the Year Awards
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Wednesday that Bryshon Nellum of USC and Indiana's Derek Drouin are the 2013 NCAA Division I National Men’s Athletes of the Year for outdoor track & field as voted by the nation’s coaches. Nellum ran a 2013 collegiate-best 400 en route to an NCAA title this past weekend, while Drouin won the outdoor high jump title in dramatic fashion to complete the sweep of the event both indoors and outdoors and bring his NCAA titles career total to five. Dominant Rollins & Barrett Named National Women’s Athletes of the Year
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Wednesday that Clemson's Brianna Rollins and Arizona's Brigetta Barrett were the association’s National Women’s Athletes of the Year, as voted by the nation’s coaches, for the 2013 NCAA Division I outdoor track & field season.
