Haverford Tapped as Scholar Team of the Year for Second-Straight Year

NEW ORLEANS – The Fords of Haverford are the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2011 cross country season as announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Haverford was the national runner-up in the sport this past fall.

NCAA Champ Wash-U Bears Gain Title of Scholar Team of the Year

NEW ORLEANS – The Bears of Washington University of St. Louis are the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Women’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2011 cross country season as announced Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The squad also won their first NCAA cross country title this fall.

NCAA DIII Women’s Champ Del Piccolo Claims Scholar-Athlete of the Year Honor

NEW ORLEANS – Chiara Del Piccolo of Williams College was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2011 cross country season on Friday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Del Piccolo was also the NCAA Division III cross country champion for the 2011 fall season.

Ben Sathre Named Scholar-Athlete of 2011 Division III Cross Country Season

NEW ORLEANS – Ben Sathre of the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2011 cross country season on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Sathre was also the NCAA Division III cross country champion for the 2011 fall season.

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday the 80 student-athletes that received All-America honors for the 2011 NCAA Division II Cross Country season. Overall finish at the NCAA Championships is the determining factor as the top 40 individuals from both men’s and women’s races earn All-America plaudits from the USTFCCCA.

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recognized nearly 560 athletes that earned All-Region awards for cross country in Division III following this weekend’s NCAA Regional Championships. Athletes of member schools that finished in the top 35 individually at one of the nine regional sites earned the honor.

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recognized nearly 400 athletes that earned All-Region awards for cross country in Division II following this weekend’s NCAA Regional Championships. Athletes of member schools that finished in the top 25 individually at one of the eight regional sites earned the honor.
