South River High School seeks dynamic individuals to become coaches of the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field program.

South River H.S., a large 4A school in Anne Arundel County Public Schools and apart of Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association (MPSSAA), invites applications for different positions of coaching the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field with an emphasis in pole vaulting.

The position will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program. Duties include, but are not limited to, planning/implementing daily practices, recruiting, meet management, and the supervision of equipment inventory.

Duties also include being responsible for assisting the head coach with developing and training student-athletes, assisting in recruiting, coordinating meet management for home contests, administering the weight-training program, monitoring academic progress of student-athletes, assisting with program administration and other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Represent the program and the athletic department in a professional, dignified, and positive manner at all times, and in turn expect the same manner of behavior from team members.
