

2021 NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 4
NEW ORLEANS – As we approach the postseason, let’s take a look at the fourth installment of the NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Rating Index for the 2021 season that was released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday.

Concordia (Neb.) remained at No. 1 for the fourth straight week. Rachel Battershell and Sarah Lewis now rank No. 3 (1:02.18) and No. 4 (1:02.77), respectively, in the 400H. Amy Richert and Emily Loy also turned in strong performances in the heptathlon to bolster the Bulldogs. Richert is No. 3 with 4683 points and Loy is No. 5 with 4464.
No. 2 Indiana Tech and No. 3 Wayland Baptist (Texas) also held steady. The Warriors’s 4×800 clocked the fifth-fastest time of the year (9:33.98) and Antonishka Deveaux moved up to No. 8 on the Descending Order List with her 24.56 in the 200.
No. 4 Hastings (Neb.) moved ahead of now No. 5 Southeastern (Fla.). The Broncos had a strong showing from Lauren Tamayo in her first heptathlon of the season, posting the No. 2 score of 4825. Nisa Thomas moved into the top-10 in the 100H with the ninth-fastest time of 14.50w.
Here are the rest of the top-10 teams in Week 4: No. 6 William Carey (Miss.), No. 7 Doane (Neb.), No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 9 Cornerstone (Mich.) and No. 10 Taylor (Ind.). The Wildcats and the Trojans were the biggest gainers in Week 4 with jumps of 25 and 22, respectively. The Wildcats earned two No. 1s from Janae Moffitt in the high jump (1.72m/5-7¾) and the 4×800 (9:19.73). Pacing the Trojans was the 4×800 (No. 2, 9:23.35) and Patience Sakeuh in the 100H (No. 4, 14.26).
