301 Program Overview

The Track and Field Coaching Certification (TFCC) is a certification granted by the USTFCCCA to coaches who have demonstrated high levels of professional preparation in Track and Field and Cross Country technical coaching and program management. The certification is considered superior to the Track & Field Technical Certification. (TFTC) and the Program Management Certification (PMC).

Earning the TFCC

The Track and Field Coaching Certification is earned by successfully completing the TFTC and PMC courses. The TFTC requirement can be met by passing an onsite course (201) or the online version of the TFTC (251). The PMC requirement can be met by passing the onsite PMC (202) or the online version of the PMC (252) which is currently under development. While the Academy designates the certification with the course number 301, there is no 301 or TFCC course. The certification is granted immediately upon passing both courses. The TFTC and PMC can be taken in any order.
