399. Advanced Endorsement to the Strength & Conditioning Coach Certification

The Track and Field Academy offers an Advanced Endorsement to its Strength and Conditioning Certification . This endorsement signifies attainment of additional qualifications required by many hiring agencies and sports governing bodies. To qualify to receive this Advanced Endorsement, a person must accomplish the following:

• Possess and submit evidence of an Undergraduate College Degree
• Possess and submit evidence of valid certifications in AED, First Aid, and CPR
• Pay the Fee associated with the Document Submission process by enrolling in the Advanced Endorsement Course (399)
• Successfully complete the Strength and Conditioning Certification Course

After receiving the Advanced Endorsement, it may be maintained by:

• Maintaining the Strength and Conditioning Coach Certification according to the Track and Field Academy’s continuing education and certification maintenance policies.
• Continually submitting evidence of all AED, First Aid, and CPR recertifications, thus maintaining records of these certifications in the USTFCCCA office.

Registration and Fees

In order to attain the Advanced Endorsement and submit the documents, a candidate must enroll in Course 399 – Advanced Endorsement for the Strength and Conditioning Certification. The candidate may enroll at the same time they register for the Strength and Conditioning Course, or may enroll at a later time. The cost for enrolling in the Advanced Endorsement program is $40. This fee is in addition to and not included in the tuition cost of the Strength and Conditioning Course. Course 399 contains no classwork component, it simply allows a student access to the submission portal and the ability to gain the Advanced Endorsement.

Document Submission Guidelines and Instructions

Acceptable Documents. Documents must submitted in PDF format. Evidence of the undergraduate degree may consist of a PDF copy of the diploma or transcripts (submission of both diploma and transcripts are not required). AED, First Aid, and CPR certifications may be documented with PDF copies of a valid certificate, card, or license.

Document File Names. Each PDF file should be named according to the following formats. We will not accept files that are not named according to the following guidelines.

Degree files should be named as follows: DEGREE.pdf
AED Certification files should be named as follows: AED.pdf
CPR Certification files should be named as follows: CPR.pdf
First Aid Certification files should be named as follows: FIRSTAID.pdf

Document Submission. The submission portal is now open, and required documents should be submitted as soon as possible. Your Advanced Endorsement will be registered in the USTFCCCA office once the documents are received and approved.

Instructions for Submission.

1. Log in to your USTFCCCA web account at https://ustfccca.site-ym.com/Login.aspx
2. Mouse over “Track & Field Academy” in the red banner and click on “Course Login”.
3. On the next screen, enter your same account username and password to enter the Moodle course area.
4. Click on “TFA 310: Certification Documents”. Here you will see links to upload areas for each document, and a Certification Form.
5. Click on each Upload Link in turn, then click on “Add Submission”. This will bring you to the upload area.
6. You may drag your file into the area, or browse to upload the file. After uploading, click “Submit”.
7. Repeat step 5 above for the remaining documents.
8. Click on “Certification Form”. This will bring you to an electronic form you must complete. Enter all of the required information, and click “Submit” at the bottom of the form.

Confirmation and Notification

Upon submission, a letter confirming your attainment of the Advanced Endorsement to the Strength and Conditioning Certification will be emailed. After meeting all requirements, please allow three weeks for your letter to arrive.  For a complete list of your current certifications, click here.
