

The Bowerman: Gold Medals Galore At World Indoor Championships

Past winners of The Bowerman collected three gold medals over the weekend at the 2024 World Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.

2017 The Bowerman winner Christian Coleman got the party started on Day 1 when he beat a talented field in the final of the 60 meters and exacted some revenge on Noah Lyles. Coleman blitzed the straightaway in 6.41 to equal the world lead and capture his second indoor 60-meter crown.
2019 The Bowerman winner Grant Holloway followed suit on Day 2 when he obliterated the competition in the final of the 60-meter hurdles and equaled the championships record of 7.29. Holloway also extended his unbeaten streak in the event to nearly nine years.
2023 The Bowerman winner Julien Alfred wrapped up Day 2 with a resounding victory in the 60 meters. Alfred matched the world lead of 6.98 that runner-up Ewa Swoboda clocked in the semifinals.
