The Track and Field Academy
The Track & Field Academy is an educational and certification program designed to provide professional development opportunities for coaches at all levels of the sport. The mission of the Track & Field Academy is to deliver ongoing educational experiences and certification opportunities, covering the technical, managerial and philosophical aspects of the profession.
The Track & Field Academy’s curriculum is a sequential, organized program of instruction with certifications and endorsements for multiple levels of the coaching profession. Courses and programs range from broad based instruction to specific, highly technical courses. In addition, the Track and Field Academy will provide opportunities for professional development in other areas including academic monitoring, recruiting, and meet management, among others. The program will offer multiple opportunities for continuing education without the need to exit the program once certifications are achieved. The Track & Field Academy is open to both members and non-members of the USTFCCCA.
