We still can’t believe what happened at the 2023 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Collegiate records fell left and right, especially to members of The Bowerman Watch List. And speaking of those members of The Bowerman Watch List, we’re curious how they fared in the Land of Enchantment.

Here is the latest installment of “Watching The Watch List,” compiled by USTFCCCA Communications Intern Jane Harrington.

Men’s Watch List

Mykolas Alekna, California

  • Did not compete

Drew Bosley, Northern Arizona

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Finished runner-up in 3000m with time of 7:48.34
    • Finished third in 5000m with time of 13:38.62

Sean Burrell, LSU

  • Did not compete

Cameron Crump, Mississippi State

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Finished second in long jump with a mark of 8.39m (27-6½) 
    • Moved up to No. 6 in collegiate history in the event

Anass Essayi, South Carolina

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Finished third in mile with time of 4:03.61

Kyle Garland, Georgia

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Won heptathlon with 6639 points, the highest total in collegiate history
    • Finished just six points shy of world record set by Ashton Eaton

Elija Godwin, Georgia

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Won 400m with NCAA-leading time of 44.75
    • Cemented himself at No. 5 in collegiate history 

Sondre Guttormsen, Princeton

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Won pole vault with collegiate record-tying mark of 6.00m (19-8¼) 
    • Added another all-time top-10 mark during the series

Dylan Jacobs, Tennessee

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships 
    • Won 5000 meters with all-time collegiate indoor altitude best of 13:37.59
    • Finished sixth in 3000 meters with time of 7:52.25

Ayden Owens–Delerme, Arkansas

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships 
    • Finished runner-up in heptathlon with 6518 points
    • Ranks No. 2 in collegiate history behind Kyle Garland
    • Split 46.56 on third leg of winning 4×400 relay

Women’s Watch List

Rhasidat Adeleke, Texas

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Finished runner-up in 400 meters in 50.45
    • Split 50.57 on anchor leg of runner-up 4×400 relay

Julien Alfred, Texas

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Set collegiate record to win 60m in 6.94 
    • Set collegiate record to win 200m in 22.01
    • Split 51.76 on third leg of runner-up 4×400 relay

Talitha Diggs, Florida

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Finished third in 400m with a time of 50.49
    • Split 53.94 on anchor leg of sixth-place 4×400 relay

Lamara Distin, Texas A&M

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Won high jump with a mark of 1.91m (6-3¼)

Jasmine Moore, Florida

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Set collegiate record in long jump with a mark of 7.03m (23-¾ )
    • Set collegiate record in triple jump with a mark of 15.12m (49-7 ¼)

Favour Ofili, LSU

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Finished sixth in 60m in 7.17 (PB 7.14 in prelims)
    • Finished second in 200m with a time of 22.20
    • No. 3 in collegiate history behind Julien Alfred & Abby Steiner

Masai Russell, Kentucky

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Placed second in 60-meter hurdles in 7.75
    • Equaled PR, which is third-fastest in collegiate history
    • Split 52.84 on third leg of fifth-place 4×400 relay

Katelyn Tuohy, NC State

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Won 3000 meters with a time of 9:10.07
    • Won 5000 meters with a time of 16:09.65

Jorinde van Klinken, Oregon

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Finished sixth in shot put with a mark of 17.77m (58-3 ¾) 

Britton Wilson, Arkansas 

  • NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships
    • Set collegiate record in 400m with a time of 49.48
    • Split 49.20 on anchor leg of winning 4×400 relay
