The Bowerman Set To Shine At 2023 World Athletics Championships

The Bowerman Family will be well-represented at the 2023 World Athletics Championships.

Track & field fans will see 28 athletes who either won The Bowerman or were a finalist for collegiate track & field’s highest individual honor at the National Athletics Center in Budapest over the next week. In fact, nine winners and 19 finalists are included in that number.

To break it down further, male athletes from the Class of 2015 onward will vie for global glory, as will female athletes from the Class of 2016 onward. Tina Sutej, who was a finalist for The Bowerman in 2011 after a stellar year at Arkansas, is the oldest athlete in the field representing the award.
