2013 Convention Update: A Great Experience for a Great Value

NEW ORLEANS – Not only is the 2013 USTFCCCA Convention a great experience for track & field and cross country coaches, the four-day convention from December 16-19 at the Orlando, Fla., JW Marriott Grande Lakes is a great experience for a great value.

Consider the great value attendees will get as part of the $250 registration for USTFCCCA members prior to the November 30 early registration deadline, which is rapidly approaching:

  • Great Development Opportunities- Attendees will have access to 42 Symposium technical and professional development presentations by some of the country’s top coaches and experts, and will have access to Divisional business meetings that will help improve and set the direction for the sport at all levels.

    Topics covered in the symposium presentations include endurance events, jumping events, throwing events and sprints/hurdles/relay events.

  • Great Networking Opportunities – The Convention is annually attended by coaches of all experience levels and from all Divisions, making it the year’s premiere professional convention or conference for track & field and cross country coaching.

  • Great EventsConvention-goers are invited to celebrate the sports’ top  coaches at the USTFCCCA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner and its best collegiate student-athletes at the presentation of The Bowerman Trophy. Hosting the award show for the third time is John Anderson, a regular ESPN SportsCenter anchor and co-host of Wipeout.

  • Great FoodAttendees will be well-fed throughout the week as dinner is provided to all those who attend the Hall of Fame and The Bowerman functions, in addition to an outdoor evening of food and entertainment at the MONDO Dinner. Breakfast will be served three different mornings, and convention-goers will be provided lunch on two of the days.
