This year’s convention at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, in addition to a return trip in 2017, is the beginning of a three-location cycle that also includes the JW Marriott Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas, in 2015 and 2018, and the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla., in 2016 and 2019.

The 2014 Convention will mark the return of the sport’s premier coaching convention to Phoenix for the first time since 2008.

"After an exceptional Convention experience in 2008, we are delighted to once again return to the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix," USTFCCCA CEO Sam Seemes said. "The world-class JW Marriott Desert Ridge will again be a superb setting for what has grown into a world-class annual USTFCCCA Convention."

Since the last visit to the Valley of the Sun, the USTFCCCA Convention has grown by leaps and bounds. The most recent Convention in Orlando was the best-attended edition ever with more than 1,200 coaches engaging in learning, legislative and leisure activities throughout the four-day event.

A six-year rotation has been established for the Convention cycling between Phoenix, San Antonio and Orlando – each of which have hosted the event at least once in the past.

The Convention will begin a trip Eastward in 2015, stopping at the JW Marriott Hill Country in San Antonio for the first time since 2011.

Completing the three-year cycle in 2016 will be the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes in Orlando, where the Convention has been held each of the past two years.

The cycle resets in 2017 with returns to Phoenix in 2017, San Antonio in 2018 and Orlando in 2019.

"These JW Marriott properties have all provided excellent atmosphere and accommodations since we began the annual USTFCCCA Convention in 2005," Seemes said. "We could not be more pleased that our relationship will only grow over the next six years."
