HOKA ONE ONE Joins USTFCCCA Supporter Program
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) is pleased to officially announce HOKA ONE ONE®, a footwear company at the leading edge of developing recovery technology, as the newest member of its USTFCCCA Supporter Program.
“The entire crew at HOKA ONE ONE is comprised of passionate runners and collectively we have a very long and successful history in competitive cross country and track & field running,” HOKA ONE ONE Brand President Jim Van Dine said. “We understand the performance demands of competitive runners and what is takes to keep running at an elite level, so it was an easy decision for us to team up with the USTFCCCA and its Supporter Program. We are honored to be part of this wide-reaching coaches community.”
HOKA ONE ONE’s shoes have benefitted runners at all experience levels, from the elite competitor – including recently crowned USA One-Mile Road Championships winner Leo Manzano – to the casual runner.
In looking for a way to assist runners in the recovery process, HOKA ONE ONE has developed running shoes with a unique performance midsole geometry that promote an energizing, stable ride.
By focusing on promoting natural foot motion and uniformity of stride, HOKA ONE ONE’s running shoes feature maximal cushioning derived from a higher volume, softer density and greater rebounding foam in the midsole.
This technology earned HOKA ONE ONE "Outside Magazine Gear of the Show" award at the 2012 Summer Outdoor Retail Summer Market Show and the "Best New Gear" award from the Gear Institute.
“With their participation in the USTFCCCA’s Supporter Program, HOKA ONE ONE has shown their strong commitment to track & field and cross country programs throughout the nation and we encourage our member coaches to explore the innovative footwear that they have to offer.” USTFCCCA CEO Sam Seemes said.
USTFCCCA members can discover the benefits of HOKA ONE ONE at a nearby authorized specialty running store or online at the company’s website, www.hokaoneone.com.
