QA₂Max PODCAST: Adams State’s Kevin Batt

NEW ORLEANS – Very few runners in the country, regardless of which NCAA Division in which they run, enter the 2014 cross country season with as much momentum as Kevin Batt of two-time defending Division II cross country team champ No. 1 Adams State.

A collegiate track season with two national titles and a sub-four mile to the junior’s name led to a successful summer of international racing in Europe for Ireland, which now leads to a cross season in which he is focused on atoning for what he considers a disappointing 12th-place, missed-opportunity finish at the 2013 NCAA XC Championships.

Before he and the Grizzlies head out to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, next weekend for the annual Lehigh Paul Short Invitational, we caught up with Kevin for our first-ever (!)
