PHOENIX – No one took a men’s cross country team to a more unprecedented place than Brian O’Neal did at Ole Miss this fall. He talked about the path his team took to their first-ever regional championship and national meet, and his unique background as a coach. O’Neal was a distance runner as an undergrad, coached jumps at Florida, and has led a distance renaissance in Oxford.
