QA₂ Max: Wisco Women’s Distance Coach Jill Miller

PHOENIX – Maybe no one in the NCAA has done more in the last two years to burnish their reputation as a coach of women’s distance teams than Jill Miller. She took the William & Mary women’s team to cross country nationals for the first time in nearly a decade, and was instantly successful in her move to Wisconsin this year. When we interviewed Mick Byrne earlier this year, he was sure to give her the lion’s share of the credit for the resurgence of the Badger women.

We talked to Miller in Arizona less than two weeks after she coached Sarah Disanza to her historically fast 15:20 in Boston.
