Registration Now Open for 2015 USTFCCCA Convention
NEW ORLEANS – Starting today, registration is live for the 2015 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Convention – the country’s preeminent track & field coaching gathering – at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa on December 15-18.
More coaches than ever attended last year’s 10th edition of the annual USTFCCCA Convention in Phoenix, Arizona – more than 1,400, to be specific, including many of the nation’s most accomplished coaches at all levels of the sport and up-and-coming coaches from around the country.
Even more attendees are expected this year as the Association continues to grow with expanding partnerships with the NAIA and NJCAA, both of which will conduct business meetings at Convention throughout the week.
USTFCCCA member coaches can register for Convention for $275, which includes access to professional development opportunities through technical symposiums (taught by some of the country’s most experienced coaches) and business meetings, networking with coaches from around the nation, and partaking in several social events throughout the week.
Convention-goers also get exclusive access to a pair of collegiate track & field’s annual premier events: the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Dinner, and the presentation of The Bowerman Trophy to the most outstanding college track & field student-athletes of the 2015 season.
Eight meals will be provided throughout the week, including three dinners served in conjunction with the Hall of Fame, The Bowerman and the annual MONDO Dinner.
Separate from the Convention registration, the Track & Field Academy will hold several courses at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa.
Eight courses – including the first two Master’s Endorsement Program courses to be offered at Convention – will be offered Sunday, December 13, through Tuesday, December 15, with the popular Strength & Conditioning Certification Course slated for Friday, December 18, and Saturday, December 19.
A weekly series beginning next Monday will highlight different aspects of the 2015 USTFCCCA Convention and feature a unique facet of the convention experience.
