

Status Quo in NJCAA DIII National Rankings
NEW ORLEANS – The Harper College men and the Suffolk County Community College women are still the teams to beat in NJCAA Division III Cross Country according to the national rankings released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Behind the top-ranked teams, the next three programs on each side remained the same from the previous poll – with the women’s poll the same from No. 1 to No. 9.
Howard Community College is No. 2, followed by Mohawk Valley Community College at No. 3. Joilet Junior College comes in at No. 4 and the new-No. 5 for this week is Mercer County Community College, moving up from No. 9.
On the women’s side, Harper College can be found at No. 2. The Fashion Institute of Technology is No. 3, followed by Joilet Junior College at No. 4. Ocean County College rounds out the women’s top-5.
There are two new teams to the polls: Kingsborough Community College (new-No. 9 on the men’s side) and SUNY Jefferson (new-No. 10 on the women’s side).
The NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships will be held November 7 at Stanley Park in Westfield, Massachusetts.
