Newest NJCAA DIII National Rankings Continue to Evolve
NEW ORLEANS
– Each of the top 12 men’s teams and top nine women’s teams in NJCAA Division III Track & Field stayed the same in this week’s National Team Rankings, announced Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

That doesn’t mean the rankings didn’t change, though.
The Rowan-Gloucester men and the Suffolk County CC women remained entrenched atop their respective genders’ leaderboards, but the nature of their leads went in different directions.
Rowan-Gloucester’s men (681.07 points) added a handful of points, but No. 2 Suffolk County CC (656.34) and No. 3 Harper College (607.86) both added sizeable points since last time. Suffolk improved nearly 17 points from last time, while Harper jumped more than 43.
No. 4 Howard CC (523.63) and No. 5 Montgomery-Rockville (511.59) rounded out the men’s top five.
Meanwhile, Suffolk County CC’s women got a boost this weekend, jumping up nearly 90 points to 778.32. And thus, what was a five point lead over No. 2 Harper last week turned into a 90-point edge this time around. Harper added just four points to check in at 688.13.
No. 3 Rowan-Gloucester (602.79) remains in place – though they now find themselves with a challenge from No. 4 Prince George’s CC (574.46), whose big weekend boosted them nearly 154 points.
Defending national champion Mohawk Valley CC (382.56) rounded out the top five.
No team from either gender moved up farther than No. 15 Massasoit CC, which leapt up five spots.
