CONVENTION: Early Registration Deadline Exactly 3 Weeks Away
NEW ORLEANS – Exactly three weeks remain to take advantage of the early registration discount for the 2016 USTFCCCA Convention, held Dec. 13-16 at the Orlando Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida.
It may seem like a long time between now and the November 30 deadline (11:59pm ET), but it’ll be here sooner than expected. Consider how busy the next month will be: regional championships, NCAA championships and fall track & field training are all swinging into full gear – and that’s without mentioning the hectic holiday season.
Signing up early saves $50 per registrant off the cost of registration ($300), which increases to $350 starting on December 1.
While registering early, be sure to separately book your hotel room(s) at either the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes or the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes to ensure your lodging arrangements for the week. Hotel reservations are separate from the Convention registration, and can be arranged for a special rate here.
The week is well worth the price of admission with numerous professional development opportunities and events including:
- Professional development opportunities like the symposium presentations (presented by Connor Sports) and sessions geared specifically toward assistant coaches, high school coaches and directors of operations. These sessions run from Tuesday, December 13 through Friday, December 16.
- A special program for female coaches on Tuesday, December 13.
- NCAA Divisional, NAIA and NJCAA meetings that will play a role in shaping the sport moving forward.
- Opportunities to interact with the many USTFCCCA Sponsors and Supporters showcasing their products and services.
- Special events like the presentation of The Bowerman Trophy (which closes the Convention out on the evening of Friday, December 16) and the induction of the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame Class of 2016.
- Social events like the MONDO Dinner and the USTFCCCA Golf Scramble.
USTFCCCA members (as well as high school coaches from member associations in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia or Wisconsin, or the host state of Florida) who register prior to the Noevember 30 deadline will save $50 each on Convention registration.
Additionally, the registration cost for spouses of USTFCCCA members increases from $280 to $330 on December 1.
