NCAA Division I All-Americans For 2017 Indoor Season
NEW ORLEANS – When the dust settled after an incredible two days at the 2017 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships in College Station, Texas, the Texas A&M men and Oregon women stood tall.
The host Aggies won the title after their 4×400 team beat Florida in the final race of the night, while the Ducks never broke a sweat and scored the most points in meet history for a women’s team (84).

Men’s All-Americans: First Team | Second Team
Women’s All-Americans: First Team | Second Team
It should come as no surprise that Oregon had the most All-Americans out of any team when they were announced Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The Ducks racked up 20 total honors with 18 of them being first-team nods.
Texas A&M only had nine All-Americans, but they were all of the first-team variety. Fred Kerley and Mylik Kerley were both honored twice, while unsung heroes Will Williams and Audie Wyatt received the recognition they deserved.
The men’s team with the most All-Americans was Arkansas. The Razorbacks, who didn’t make the podium after a 5th-place finish, had 18 nods with 15 of them on the First Team.
The Arkansas women also brought home a bunch of honors – 19, to be exact. Out of those 19, 11 were on the Second Team.
Tying the Razorbacks with 19 on the women’s side was LSU. The Tigers had 15 honorees on the Second Team and just four on the First Team.
Florida, the runner-up to Texas A&M, had 14 All-Americans with 11 of them on the First Team.
Oregon star Edward Cheserek, who fell short in his pursuit to win three individual titles at the same meet, was the only NCAA DI athlete to earn three All-America honors. Cheserek won the 3000 and 5000 and placed 2nd in the mile.
No conference had more All-Americans than the SEC, which nabbed 87 honors. The MPSF had 51. Coming in 3rd was the Big 12 with 41.
