NAIA OTF National Athletes of the Week (April 25)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA announced its National Athletes of the Week in outdoor track & field on Wednesday.
Quintaveoan Poole of Wayland Baptist (Texas) and Seth Gretz of Oregon Tech were the men’s honorees, while Jessa Perkinson of Southern Oregon and Kyllie Davis of Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) took home the women’s honors.

Men’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Quintaveon Poole, Wayland Baptist
Junior, Sandersville, Ga.
- Finished third out of 400 athletes in the 400 with a time of 45.26.
- Was the only non-NCAA Division I athlete that competed in that particular event at the Michael Johnson Invitational.
Men’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Seth Gretz, Oregon Tech
Senior, Rogue River, Oregon
- Finished first out of eight athletes in the decathlon with a mark of 6895 for a new personal record.
- This was his third straight Cascade Collegiate Conference Decathlon Championship
Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week
Jessa Perkinson, Southern Oregon
Senior, Roseburg, Ore.
- Finished 13-of-21 in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 16:13.79
- That time is a new personal best by 24 seconds
Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week
Kyllie Davis, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.)
Junior, Eureka, Ill.
- Finished third out of 52 athletes in the discus with a mark of 46.34
- Finished first out of 41 athletes in the shot put with a mark of 14.83
