MEET PREVIEW: 2018 Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational
NEW ORLEANS – One of the biggest weekends in the NCAA Division I Cross Country season is upon us.
With apologies to the Louisville Cross Country Classic, the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, the Paul Short Run, the Roy Griak Invitational and the Stanford Cross Country Invitational – which are all strong in their own right – the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational is the headliner. How could it not be with 34 ranked teams between the two championship races?
USTFCCCA InfoZone: Meets This Weekend
There will be 19 men’s teams that were listed in the top-30 of the most recent NCAA Division I Men’s National Coaches’ Poll in attendance, as well as 15 teams that earned their spot on the most recent NCAA Division I Women’s National Coaches’ Poll. Seven of those 19 men’s teams were in the top-10 this week, as were seven of the 15 women’s programs – including each polls’ No. 1 team.
If you want to know more about the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, which will be held at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course in Madison, Wisconsin, you’re in luck. Look below for two articles about the meet.
