That’s because the biggest weekend of the regular season is finally upon us.
Each and every single one of the top-30 teams in the most recent National Coaches’ Polls will be in action this weekend, split between the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday and the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational on Saturday.
The last time those meets were held on the same weekend was 2017 and boy, did the National Coaches’ Polls shift the next week.
Use the tables below to filter through where teams stood entering the weekend, where they competed and how they fared, as well as how much their next week rank changed.

Seven men’s teams jumped six or more ranks between Week 4 and Week 7 two years ago, headlined by Portland‘s 23-spot improvement after finishing second at the Nuttycombe Invitational.
There was also quite a bit of attrition as three teams fell nine or more spots, while seven were dropped from the top-30 all together.

Three women’s teams improved their rank by seven or more spots between Week 4 and Week 5, notably Furman and Georgia, which finished sixth at the Nuttycombe Invitational and the Pre-National Invitational, respectively.
There was also quite a bit of attrition to the index, as three teams fell nine or more spots and seven were dropped from the top-30 all together.
As you can see, you don’t want to miss the newest NCAA Division I Cross Country National Coaches’ Polls when they are released next Tuesday following what promises to be a major weekend.
