The Marine Corps & USTFCCCA Present “An Aligned Mission”
The Marine Corps and the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) will present a free professional development session live online via ZOOM entitled, “An Aligned Mission” on Tuesday, September 28 at 8 pm ET.
This opportunity is open to all coaches – members and non-members, alike.
Here is the session description: “Coaches, Educators, and the United States Marine Corps have the development of our nation’s youth in common. We are engaged in an aligned mission. During this presentation, 1st Lt Alixandra Valenti will discuss the USMC leadership principles and how they can be utilized by coaches and educators nationwide.
“Just as you make every effort to help the youth of our nation succeed, the Marine Corps strives to help every Marine reach his or her potential. During this discussion, 1st Lt Valenti will provide an overview of the USMC Influencer program and how with your support as coaches, we will work together to ensure the success of our youth.”
The session will be presented by First Lieutenant Alixandra Valenti. A runner since middle school, Valenti competed for the United States Naval Academy from 2015 to 2019 and placed in the top-10 of the Patriot League Cross Country Championships twice.
