This marks the second time in the past three years that the USTFCCCA Convention has been held in the Sunshine State.

Marquee events continue to headline the USTFCCCA Convention.

On Wednesday, seven legendary coaches will be inducted into the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame: Peter Farrell (Princeton), Thomas “T.E.” Jones (Missouri/Wisconsin), Don Larson (North Dakota State), Dr. Nancy Meyer (Calvin), John Moon (Seton Hall), Dennis Shaver (LSU) and John Weaver (Appalachian State).

The Bowerman Presentation takes place two days later and that’s when we’ll find out the winners of collegiate track & field’s highest honor. The men’s finalists are JuVaughn Harrison, Cole Hocker and Turner Washington, while the women’s finalists are Tara Davis, Tyra Gittens and Athing Mu.

Both the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and The Bowerman Presentation will be broadcast LIVE on YouTube.

Throughout the week, coaches can also check out 28 Technical Symposiums and eight Professional Development sessions, which are presented by REKORTAN.

The Bowerman isn’t the only award being handed out in Orlando. The 2020-2021 USTFCCCA Program of the Year winners will be honored, as will the recipients of the George Dales Award and the Jimmy Carnes Distinguished Service Award, among others.

Be sure to check back throughout the week for more information about the 2021 USTFCCCA Convention, which runs through Friday.
