The 2022 USTFCCCA Convention Is Underway!

AURORA, Colo. – The 2022 USTFCCCA Convention starts today!

More than 1500 cross country and track & field coaches registered for the 2022 USTFCCCA Convention, which is set to begin today at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado.


This marks the first time in the 17-year history of the USTFCCCA Convention that it has been in the Centennial State.

Marquee events continue to headline the USTFCCCA Convention.

On Tuesday, six legendary coaches will be inducted into the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of FameJosh Culbreath (Central State), Greg Kraft (Arizona State), Halston Taylor (MIT), Art Venegas (UCLA), Mark Wetmore (Colorado) and Sue Williams (UC Davis).

The Bowerman Presentation takes place two days later and that’s when we’ll find out the winners of collegiate track & field’s highest honor. Men’s finalists for The Bowerman are Trey Cunningham of Florida State, Ayden Owens-Delerme of Arkansas and Randolph Ross Jr. of North Carolina A&T, while the women’s finalists are Anna Hall of Florida, Camryn Rogers of California and Abby Steiner of Kentucky.

Both the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Presented By REKORTAN and The Bowerman Presentation will be broadcast LIVE on YouTube.

Throughout the week, coaches can also check out numerous educational opportunities, such as 28 Technical Symposiums Presented By Drake Relays, Professional Development Sessions and High School Coaching Seminars (10 of each), six Director of Operations seminars, four Assistant Coach Seminars and one great Women in Coaching Seminar as well.

The Bowerman isn’t the only award being handed out in Orlando. The 2021-22 USTFCCCA Program of the Year winners will be honored, as will the recipients of the George Dales Award and the Jimmy Carnes Distinguished Service Award, among others.
