The 2023 USTFCCCA Convention Is Underway!

AURORA, Colo. – The 2023 USTFCCCA Convention starts today!

More than 1500 cross country and track & field coaches registered for the 2023 USTFCCCA Convention, which is set to begin today at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado.

This is the second year in a row that Convention has been held in the Centennial State.

Marquee events continue to headline the USTFCCCA Convention.

On Tuesday, six legendary coaches will be inducted into the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame: John Homon, Wes Kittley, Phil Lundin, Donna Ricks, Martin Smith and Victor Thomas.

The Bowerman Presentation takes place two days later and that’s when we’ll find out the winners of collegiate track & field’s highest honor. Men’s finalists for The Bowerman are Kyle Garland of Georgia, Jaydon Hibbert of Arkansas and Leo Neugebauer of Texas, while the women’s finalists are Julien Alfred of Texas, Jasmine Moore of Florida and Britton Wilson of Arkansas.

Both the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Presented By REKORTAN and The Bowerman Presentation will be broadcast LIVE on RunnerSpace.

Throughout the week, coaches can also check out numerous educational opportunities, such as 25 Technical Symposiums Presented By Drake Relays, 14 Professional Development Sessions and ten High School Coaching Seminars, six Director of Operations seminars, four Assistant Coach Seminars and one great Women in Coaching Seminar as well.

The Bowerman isn’t the only award being handed out in Orlando. The 2022-2023 USTFCCCA Program of the Year winners will be honored, as will the recipients of the George Dales Award and the Jimmy Carnes Distinguished Service Award, among others.
