

Collegiate Athlete Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Is Set For Sunday

It’s only fitting that the Collegiate Cross Country/Track & Field Athlete Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony returns to the Emerald City on Sunday, June 2. Former “SportsCenter” anchor Neil Everett hosts the event, which will emanate from the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and will be broadcast live for free on RunnerSpace.com beginning at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT).
Starting at 4:30 p.m., local time, the inductees will arrive at the Hult Center with a red carpet welcome with introductions by voice of Hayward Field, Paul Swangard.
Admission to the event is free for those in Eugene.
The Class of 2024 features some of the greatest names in collegiate cross country and track & field history. With 67 national collegiate titles, 25 collegiate records, five Olympic/World Championships medals, and four world records while in college, these athletes left an indelible mark on the sports.
