                       Applications Open For USTFCCCA Female Coaches Mentorship Program In 2024
NEW ORLEANS – The USTFCCCA Female Coaching Mentorship Program (FCMP) is set to begin its seventh year in the fall of 2024 and is now accepting applications!
The overall program is designed to increase the representation, depth of knowledge and advancement of female coaches in the field of cross country and track & field coaching at every level, as well as create accessibility within the industry.
This specific opportunity amplifies that by pairing individuals with 1:1 year-round mentorship with a senior coach and adhering to set guidelines for successful consultations with esteemed leaders of the sport from a variety of backgrounds.

A new feature this year is that everybody who applies to the program (whether they are selected for mentorships pairing or not) will be invited to participate in professional development Zoom meetings during the 2024-25 academic year.

The FCMP committee in 2024 includes Kelsey Riggins (Murray State), Angelina Ramos (Coaches of Color Initiative), Ashley Bastron (Wake Forest), Emma DeLira (Pomona-Pitzer), Becca Rhodes (Utah) and Melissa Ferry (Rider University).
Applications will be accepted until Monday, August 29.
ABOUT THE USTFCCCA FCMP
The USTFCCCA Female Coaches Mentorship Program was started in 2018 by a trio of accomplished female coaches – Rhonda Riley, Angelina Ramos and Janine Tessarzik – and has grown each year to where it is today. (Female coaches can also be on the lookout for the Women in Coaching Event at the annual USTFCCCA Convention.)
