The country with the smallest population that will be represented in Eugene is the British Virgin Islands, which has two athletes in the mix: Jaleel Croal of South Florida and Kaelyaah Liburd of Florida State.

What about hometown? Kingston, Jamaica, leads everybody with 14 athletes. Eldoret, Kenya, and Houston, Texas, both have 11 for the only other hometowns with more than ten athletes.

Finally, let’s put the focus on the United States. Athletes from 46 states are in Oregon for the climactic meet of the 2025 outdoor season, led by Texas with 69. In fact, the next two states combined – California (45) and Florida (26) – barely edge out Texas.
