Here are testimonials from a recent mentor/mentee pairing.
Valerie Brown (Indiana University) – “Carrie has been an incredible mentor this year, someone whose wisdom and support have guided me through professional challenges, and opportunities of learning with the intent to grow. Her ability to make even the most complex topics approachable and her genuine, open communication style have made learning from her a true gift. Everyone needs someone like Carrie in their circle. I am grateful for being paired together.”
Carrie Lane (Under Armour) – “It was rewarding working with Valerie because she showed up to each phone call with thoughtful, relevant questions about technical training, career path, and strategies for communication. Our sessions built on one another and I’m glad I could be a sounding board as she tackled athletes’ various challenges throughout the season.”
About The USTFCCCA FCMP
The USTFCCCA Female Coaches Mentorship Program was started in 2018 by a trio of accomplished female coaches – Rhonda Riley, Angelina Ramos and Janine Tessarzik – and has grown each year to where it is today. (Female coaches can also be on the lookout for the Women in Coaching Event at the annual USTFCCCA Convention.)
