DIII Regional Cross Country Rankings — Week 2
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released week two regional rankings for the NCAA Division III 2011 season on Tuesday. Five new number ones emerged in this week’s rankings including Pomona-Pitzer’s men who moved from No. 8 to No. 1 in the west after a fantastic showing at last weekend’s UC Riverside Invitational.
Other new number ones this week include: SUNY Geneseo (Atlantic men), MIT (New England men), St. Olaf (Central women), Calvin (Great Lakes women).
New to the regional top ten for the first time this week are: Central (Iowa) (Central men), Mount Union (Great Lakes men), York (Pa.) (Mideast men), Mount Union (Great Lakes women), Ohio Wesleyan (Great Lakes women), Allegheny (Mideast women), Coast Guard (New England women).
NCAA Division III Regional Championships will be held on Saturday, November 12. Championship sites.
