Mohammed El Youssfi of Odessa (Texas) was named the 2025 NJCAA Division I Men’s Outdoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. El Youssfi, who maintained a term GPA of 3.81, swept the 5000 meters and 10,000 meters at the 2025 NJCAA DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that a male athlete from Odessa has been named National Scholar Athlete of the Year in outdoor track & field.
