NCAA Division III Championship History

In the men’s poll, the top three teams – No. 1 Haverford, No. 2 Calvin, and No. 3 North Central (Ill.) held their ground from the previous week. Haverford won their third-straight Centennial Conference crown while Calvin had no problem winning the MIAA title and North Central made it 39 in-a-row in the CCIW.

Tufts is in the top five for the first time this season and Middlebury returns to the top ten, landing at No. 8.

The women’s poll keeps MIT at No. 1, Johns Hopkins at No. 2, and Calvin at No. 3, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at No. 4, and Middlebury at No. 5 for the third-straight week. The Engineers of MIT won their sixth-straight title in the NEWMAC last weekend. Johns Hopkins claimed a fifth-consecutive Centennial Conference crown. And, Calvin’s women matched the feat of their male counterparts in winning the MIAA.

Regional championships to be held on Saturday, November 10, are next on the schedule for DIII.

The final regular-season poll will be released on Monday, November 12, in advance of the NCAA DIII Championships that will be held on Saturday, November 17.
