2020 NCAA DII Women’s Indoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 6
NEW ORLEANS – The latest edition of the NCAA Division II Women’s Indoor Track & Field National Rating Index was shaken up following Conference Championships Weekend, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.
Grand Valley State continues to separate themselves from the rest of the pack as they remain in the driver’s seat for the seventh consecutive week, while teams jostle for position in the national rankings.

The Lakers boast 16 top-10 national marks and added more over the course of the GLIAC Indoor Championships. Nicole Sreenan was part of three improved marks, as she is now ranked No. 2 nationally in the 60, No. 4 in the 200, and a member of the 4×400 relay that is ranked No. 4. She also owns the top mark in the 400 from her time at the GVSU Big Meet. Ellianne Kimes improved her mark in the pole vault and has the second-best clearance of the year at 4.21m (19-9 ¾).
Lincoln (Mo.) is this week’s newest No. 2 after a three-spot improvement from No. 5 a week ago following a big weekend in the sprint events at the MIAA Championships. Rene Medley showed her dominance in the short sprints, winning a pair of MIAA titles in the 60 and 200. Her time of 7.37 was an improvement of her NCAA DII lead, while her time of 23.57 in the 200 put her atop the national leaderboard in the event and puts her tied for the ninth-fastest time in DII history all-conditions. The duo of Kissi-Ann Brown and Christine Moss are tied for the second-fastest time of the season in the 400, both crossing the line at 53.98 at the MIAA Indoor Championships to finish 1-2.
Missouri Southern fell one spot to No. 3, while Northwest Missouri dropped two spots to No. 5, rounding out the top-5 teams following Conference Championship Weekend.
U-Mary continued to climb up the national leaderboard. The Marauders earned a two-spot improvement to No. 6 with the help of Ida Narbuvoll, who turned in the No. 2 national time in the 3000 at the NSIC Indoor Championships. She is also ranked second in the 5000, fifth in the mile, and part of the national leading Distance Medley Relay.
The newest addition to the top-10 is Tiffin with a three-spot jump to No. 10. The Dragons saw Marisa Gwinner push her national leading mark in the high jump to 1.80m (5-10 ¾) and gained some help from Rajiah Andrews, who turned in the ninth-fastest time in the 60 Hurdles.
Ashland and American International climbed back into the top-25 as the newest additions to the rankings.
The Eagles improved 13 spots from No. 31 to No. 18 this week thanks to the third-best weight throw on the Descending Order List. Carrol Pauley turned in a mark of 19.46m (63-10 ¼) at the GLIAC Championships. Also improving in the weight is Taylor Kroll with the eighth-farthest throw of the year.
The Yellow Jackets moved up to No. 21 for a six-spot jump thanks to the fourth-fastest mark in the 60 Hurdles by Roxan Foster. Her mark of 8.55 seconds was turned in at Boston University Last Chance to win the event.
