Trevor Bassitt was named the NCAA Division II Men’s Indoor Track & Field National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year. Bassitt, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.866, scored 22.5 points at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships, sweeping the 60 hurdles (7.73) and 400 meters (45.36) before anchoring the Eagles to victory in the 4×400 relay (3:09.59). This is the second year in a row that Bassitt has been named National Scholar Track Athlete of the Year for the indoor season.
