Macnider coached Harper (Ill.) to the team title at the 2023 NJCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. Led by individual winner Lilly Alberts, the Hawks had all five scorers in the top-24 to score 54 points and win by 17 points. Harper also won the team title at the Region 4 Championships, scoring 19 points to win by 19 points.
