Kara Knorr was named the 2024 NJCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Field Athlete of the Year. Knorr, who hails from Woodstown, New Jersey, scored 38 points in field events at the 2024 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. It was in Utica, New York, where Knorr won three of the throwing events in which she competed and placed runner-up in the fourth. Her victories came in the hammer throw, javelin throw and shot put. Knorr sets PRs in both the discus throw and hammer throw at the climactic meet of the season.
