Sonya Urbanowicz of British Columbia was named the 2024 NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Co-National Scholar Field Athlete of the Year. Urbanowicz, who maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.0, won the pole vault at the 2024 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This is the first time in program history that an athlete from British Columbia has been named National Field Scholar Athlete of the Year in track & field, along with teammate Rebecca Dutchak.
