Alex Jebb of Johns Hopkins was named the co-National Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field season. Jebb, in his fifth year at Johns Hopkins, saw his athletes account for 26 points at the 2022 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships thanks to a clean sweep of the horizontal jumps by Victoria Kadiri and a third-place effort from Annie Gutierrez in the heptathlon. What might be even more impressive is that Kadiri had never done the triple jump before this year and Gutierrez PR’d in six of the seven events to set a Centennial Conference record. Just a few weeks earlier, Jebb’s athletes scored more than 100 points at the Centennial Conference Championships to lead the Blue Jays to a dominant victory.
